Are you aware that laser toner is more expensive than Gold - weight for weight!. If you were using Gold as a consumable product I am sure you would be very conscientious in how is was being used.  So here are some very important tips to pass around the office.
 

Choose the “print in draft” Mode where possible.

1. Use High Quality Reconditioned Cartridges.
2. Print in Duplex if possible - even some cheaper printers have this option.
3. Wait until you have to before actually replacing the laser cartridge.
4. Re-use paper when printing draft if its not creased or damaged or printed on.
5. Before you buy a new printer - consider the running costs in terms of consumables. Read my article here for free advice on your choices at the moment.
6. Don’t open the cartridge until you need it.
7. The sale price isn’t the real price.  Take into consideration what it is worth to know that your experience with your product will be headache free.  This means customer service and bulk pricing.
8. Ensure that you use the right settings on your PC/Printer for the type of paper that you are using
9. Make sure your toner setting is as light as it possibly can be set to ensure the highest print yield possible.
